After a first time trip to Parc Asterix :
Toutatis - Just as I expected, I absolutely loved this one. That backwards launch proved to be absolutely relentless with some extremely powerful ejector airtime (a feeling that I've not really had on any other coaster before besides Ice Breaker). The trim-brake on the top hat didn't actually ruin the experience for me at all. Yes, it would have been nice to fly over the top hat and get some airtime, but the feeling of hang-time instead was a rather pleasant surprise and allowed you to appreciate the views up there a little longer! Overall, great layout and punchy launches with some good theming in areas! 10/10.
OzIris - I had heard great things about this invert, so had pretty high expectations. First off, that drop! Easily the best first drop on any invert I've ridden (especially when on the back row). Now, the rest of the layout...hmm...slightly underwhelming. All the B&M inverts I had ridden before this were all relatively intense and had whippy inversions. OzIris however, felt like all of it's elements were more drawn out which lead to a less intense ride experience for me. Don't get me wrong, I still loved how it felt super floaty in some parts and I did feel like the layout was unique compared to other inverts, but maybe I was just expecting an old-school B&M invert instead.
Tonnerre 2 Zeus - This coaster certainly has a reputation, and most of it seems pretty negative! That may be why I was pleasantly surprised by my rides on it. Yes, it's not smooth at all

. It's not jolty at all, but just extremely rattily, which I quite enjoyed and felt added to the overall fun and intensity of this coaster. There's some pretty sweet moments of airtime on this one (a lot of them were unexpected). The restraints also didn't bother me in the slightest, though I could see how they may be uncomfortable on some riders. Really enjoyed Zeus, and it was a solid #2 at the park for me.
Goudirix - Again, another one that had a pretty bad reputation! Whilst I didn't enjoy it anywhere near as much as Zeus, I still found myself wondering where all the hate comes from. The trains and restraints were absolutely fine (though I do understand they were recently upgraded). the layout had some pretty funky elements and whilst the transitions might not have been the smoothest, I found them to be really forceful, especially on the batwing. I must admit though, I think the park could do with knocking it down and replacing it with a lovely new-gen Vekoma like Lech as it does feel quite dated.
Pegase Express - This was such a fun family coaster! The first half was decent, with some nice floaty moments of airtime. But the backwards section was were it got really good! Loved those whippy left-right moments on the return journey to the station.
Trace Du Hourra - I've never really been bothered about these Mack Bobsled models as the only one I've ridden (Avalanche, BPB) was just too short and underwhelming for my liking. This one was a pleasant surprise however! The turns were extremely forceful and the layout was much longer than I excepted! I also loved how this one weaves through some rockwork. Super fun coaster!
Vol D'Icare - Break-run-the ride I called this one. All I can really say about Vol D'Icare is that it does a whole lot of nothing

Time for this one to go too I feel.
SOS Tournevis - Just a bog standard kids coaster....had to get the credit
