Of course we have a B&M Count aswell as Intamin Count but as hard as I've looked I cant seem to find a Mack Count, so here it is!
With Mack stepping up the game with the Extreme Spinner, Hyper Coaster & Stryker Coaster I thought why not start one now in time for Voltron & Hyperia?

I've ridden 46 out of the 58 currently operating in the EU (according to RCDB) with 7 more planned for 2024 so far, so what have you ridden?

I think Mack are second to Vekoma as my 'most ridden manufacturer' - it's surprising that their thrill coasters haven't made it further afield (DC Rivals not withstanding) - and I'm hopeful that the UK will get a significant one at some point.

Helix is obviously the best of them that I've ridden - and then there's another 52; many entirely forgettable.

I’ve done 22 Mack coasters in total, which makes up 17.9% of my total coaster count of 123. This makes them my most ridden manufacturer; it was B&M for years, but my 2022 trip to Europa Park still looms large!

Runaway Mine Train at Alton Towers was my first Mack coaster on 30th May 2009, while Hyperia at Thorpe Park was my most recent on 18th August 2024.

If I were to rank the Macks I’ve done from highest to lowest, that ranking would be as follows:

Are Hyperia and Icon not significant Mack thrill coasters that we already have? At very least, I’d imagine that Hyperia, as the tallest coaster Mack has ever created and a ride that’s getting rave reviews, should qualify, no?

Fair enough if you don’t personally rate them, but I’d argue that Hyperia and Icon are most certainly thrilling Mack coasters in the UK.

Fair - but only in the same way that Minifigure Speedway is the most thrilling Zierer in the country.

I'm a Europa fan, so I love Mack, don't get me wrong - but we haven't yet got one in this country that's worth going out of my way to ride.
 
Bank holidays are boring, so the spreadsheet's having a bit of work on it.

I've realised I can very easily do a Top 10, because (to further my above point) I've only given ten more than 6/10.

1. Helix (obviously)
2. RIde To Happiness
3. Voltron Nevera (an acquired taste, and sadly it'll be a fair while before I'm back to acquire it)
4. Blue Fire (very underrated)
5. DC Rivals Hypercoaster (very overrated - gamechanger for the continent, but very unimaginative layout)
6. Lost Gravity
7. Dwervelwind
8. Alpinablitz
9. Icon
10. Pegasus (I want more youngstars - they are among the best family coasters and I won't change my mind on that!)
