Alton towers have permanently closed the skyride I am very confused as they just refurbished it I am kind of thinking it may be an April fools prank as this is very shocking! I don’t know if any of you know any more I can’t really find much information on it.![]()

According to the worker’s union a whole 65% of PortAventura’s workforce earn minimum wage or less due to seasonal contracts allowing the park to get away with lower wages, and issues with management and employee transportation remain. PortAventura has cancelled ticket sales for tomorrow but plans to remain operational, however cautioning visitors that they may face difficulties buying food or going on rides. The union warns that the strike may proceed past Saturday if negotations continue to stall.
