So I just learned that yet another new park is due to open near Rome in 2018. So I thought I'd create a topic where I'll go through what parks are opening and when.
Cinecitta World - 2014?
Apparently opening this year and based on the old site of the Cinecitta studios (where a whole bunch of very famous films were made) will be a family theme park with loose themes based on films that were filmed there. A topic already exists regarding this park and it's main rollercoasters.
Leunor Park - 2014
Technically not a new park but a complete revamp of a park that has been closed for a few years.
Wonder World - 2015?
Another large theme park is due to open next year to compete against Cinecitta and Rainbow Magicland. I can't seem to find info on it at the mo, will update this post when I can.
SeaLife - ?
Due to be the biggest in Europe.
Roma Vetus - 2018
A large park devoted to show casing the best Rome architecture through various attractions and shows. Mainly shows. The website is now live which is full of concept art and information and in English! The budget for the project is around 1.5B Euros which is a lot of monies. Park website
