New attractions at Paultons Park

Would it not make more sense to start from the old log flume and go across the site or will it be too wide for the space left from the new building to Lost kingdom. its does look a narrow layout for the Freizeitpark water coaster

Have added the new support locations roughly. (Purple)

So now i completely go against what i said before and i dont think whatever is coming here will be contained within the black border as it looks like we have fountains leading outside it.

Great to see a load of markers round this site.

Im happy if its a water coaster, as hopefully the cobra area ride will be the stand out. The UKs first water coaster would be great and give them a fantastic coaster collection, but 9 coasters......9!! That seems crazy, it would be cool but i never ever would have thought back in the day they would get that many.

New updated from UK Theme Parks, work continuing on the large building in the Vikings area, more footers for the 2026 coaster and even footer cages for the 2027 coaster.

Just wondering, was it confirmed that both projects are staggered?

I'm assuming it's all 2026 until the park states otherwise (on Saturday most likely)

Always thought the Freizeitpark Plohn Mack Launched Water Coaster would fit nicely at Paultons... Very oddly looks like it would fit on the Go-Karts site...

Totally agree, this seems to fit into Paultons and the Go Karts site well.

The Go Karts site would also fit in a clone of Viking Voyage at Emerald Park too.

In a staff meeting, staff were told the go carts area would be transformed for 2027 and the area around cobra for 2026 including a UK first flat ride and a 1.2m roller coaster.

We were at the park today. There is a pile drilling machine in the area by Cobra's first helix.

The more interesting bit was the conversation I had with a member of staff. The big thing this year is the race to be the first Gameplay Theatre to open (between Ghostly Manor and the Europa Park one - obviously we expect Europa to win as it's Mack).

HOWEVER - next year - definitely a ride with an inversion. Also - another race to be the first to get a type of ride. The competitor is potentially a European park. We asked if it was another park in the UK, and they said Europe - so keep an eye on what's coming in Europe for 2026, and this may lead to what's coming to Paultons.
Could this be the Water Coaster for 2026?

A water coaster does seem likely and it would be a great fit for Paultons. A step up in capacity, and super popular with families, it would definitely be a hit. Wasn;t a picture of a water coaster shown on some document ages ago too?

Only thing that makes me second guess is, if it were a water coaster in the spot next to Cobra, would we not be seeing more digging down in areas to create troughs or a splash down area or something? Unless that’s to come later, possibly in the area where the footers seem to stop abruptly at the dirt boundary.

Really intrigued to see what’s coming anyway. I’m kind of secretly hoping for that small scale Stryker/Big Dipper like Helios now… we can dream!

I'm not entirely convinced that citing a staff meeting is a source to be honest. There could be a few users citing this and claiming to be staff.

I'm sceptical that the staff (especially the rides team) even would be told future plans before the public (without a confidentiality agreement) are because of leaking and that it is commercially sensitive information.

I'm also not convinced that it would be the right move to get rid of Raging River without an imminent replacement. Ideally, it should've been end of 2024 for RR's closure and mid-2025 for RR's replacement. I know Alton Towers never replaced theirs but for Paultons, it was their main water ride.

A water coaster would be perfect for somewhere in the UK too. It would be incredible for families and thrillseekers alike.

I'd definitely would think Thorpe Park would pick one up at some point as that would fit in well with their target market too (in addition to the idea that a water coaster is quite novel in the UK)
