No confirmation I'm afraid, but it has been mentioned on another site that Adventuredome in Las Vegas are installing an El Loco for next year.

Didnt they want to remove the Flume ride? An El Loco would fit there perfectly....plus it would fit nicely.

I love these rides, and now that they have the 8seat cars, the loading isn't that bad. I hope it's true.

The two El Loco's I've been on are very mediocre. They look like they should be fun, but they just don't really deliver much.

I'm assuming, perhaps wrongly, that this will just be pretty much a clone of the others. It's an extra cred for when I eventually get my arse to Vegas though I guess.

^I thought Steel Hawg was a load of crap, but Green Lantern was actually really good. A bit hit and miss perhaps?

It's good to hear Vegas considering building something new, rather than closing something down! :)

That looks far better than it's prior shape. Plus, those new restraints are incredible.

Can it really be "hit or miss" considering the layouts are identical?

Green Lantern has lap bars and on board audio, and I'd imagine that could make a big difference. These are vyer much a 'meh' coaster, with no flow to them at all, so any improvement would probably make the world of difference.

It's Steel Hawg (ugh, just spell it right) and Mumbo Jumbo I'm thinking of, which are both s**te.

Those newer trains with the lapbars look like they could actually make quite a bit of difference though to be fair. I'd imagine any newer El Loco coasters would be fitted with them, surely?

It will give me something else to eventually look at in regards to construction beyond the on hold Akita Plaza ordeal.

Extra cred I guess, which is good, but the removal of that massive flume ride which basically takes up the entire centre of the Adventuredome? Dunno, they're a bit poo.

I suppose it'll be the best coaster in Las Vegas, not that that's anything to shout about.

Nope, Wasn't paying any attention. Good on them though.

Anyone heard anything about this? Topic has been without an update for over a year. I know it's opening in December and it will have the new trains with on-board audio.
