Flambards fun May 2013

Ok thought it was probably about time I posted some photos from my flambards trip, seeing as I've just worked out how to use photobucket!
First off the park is very random and seems to be divided up into two halves, one half is packed full of rides with some minimal theming and the other half feels more like a small themed family park.

Welcome to Flambards

And of coarse the drop tower like the one at Paultons, though obviously not as good as we all know that the Paultons version is the best in the world!

Loved this ride, it span around in pitch black with thumping music playing and random flashing lights, all accompanied to the sound of screaming crying children.

Ever wanted to be an astronaut?

Along with all the rides there are bizarre walk throughs and a complete victorian town inside a warehouse. Overall I loved the unique feel of the park and it seemed to be a friendly place. The staff loading the hornet coaster were amazing, a lot of the big parks could only wish to have staff as efficient as them.
Shame to hear this place is up for sale, I only hope it remains a park and is not turned into a housing estate!

The rocket drop tower thing looks ace. I love a well themed flat ride.

I adore Flambards! The Hornet and the drop slide are fab, as is the Victorian village.

Not to mention the UK's most southern coaster haha!

Unfortunately when I went the drop slide was closed with a sign on the door saying it was being redeveloped for 2014, hopefully it's just getting a spruce up.
