After some more searching managed to find the planning application for this, appears to be a temporary installation of 20 animatronic dinosaurs, perhaps it is a good way of testing the water with aim to install something more permanent

Judging by the level of detail put into the theming of Critter Creek and looking at how beautifully kept the gardens are I think they have a good chance of pulling the look off

Managed to get classic picture of some dirt, not sure what the structure on the right of picture is but a lot of water is being pumped out of it. Guess that flying frog coaster will be rethemed to fit in too as it is staying and in the middle of the...
Done some more digging, appears it is a complete area re theme https://paultonspark.co.uk/attractions/ ... er-coaster not a bad thing as this part of the park is a bit jumbled and needs updating, be interesting to see what rides stay and what rides go

Unfortunately when I went the drop slide was closed with a sign on the door saying it was being redeveloped for 2014, hopefully it's just getting a spruce up.

First off the park is very random and seems to be divided up into two halves, one half is packed full of rides with some minimal theming and the other half...
Paultons have posted an update ref their new entrance area https://m.paultonspark.co.uk/blog/570/ Will be glad to see the back of the blue/yellow and red shed buildings, they look really out of place now. Wish they would update the Cobra station too whilst they are at it.
