Dunno about you lot, my newsfeed is full of this story, all the major news outlets seem to have it covered. Can't deny it, this seems to have gained more traction in the last 3 days than the London Resort did in 10 years. And so far, not one of those news stories have used the phrase...
"A spokesperson for Universal said..... we look forward to engaging with stakeholders and the local community ".
That's the bit that worries me. I bet the 'Hands Off Our Village' and 'Say No To Universal' signs are being hammered into hundreds of front lawns as we speak.
I'm a Spring baby. Bright sunny weather but not too hot, no bugs, daffodils and cherry blossoms, low crowds as long as you avoid the Easter break, just that general vibe and excitement of parks opening up again and showing off their shiny new attractions. Can't beat it.
Soooo, Flying Dinosaur at USJ experiences an e-stop on the lift hill, and the BBC reports it as "Riders stranded upside down on roller coaster":

See, sh*t like this is one of the reasons I stopped paying the licence fee.
My answer was gonna be Ripsaw, but the Rameses Revenge stories above are pretty much identical, ie - ride ops having a certain degree of creative freedom when it came to the fountain controls! I'm going back to the 90's though, opening year in particular.
I vividly remember this one occasion...
I am kinda regretting not giving Gringotts another shot to be honest. In hindsight, it probably deserved a reride, but I was like 'Nope, we haven't done Fast n Furious yet, let's do that instead'.
Some you win, some you lose.

Sorry for bumping yet another old Orlando poll... actually no, scrap that, I'm not sorry at all. I might be about half a decade late with this one but as I've now experienced both rides I've got sumat to say, so Imma say it.
Forbidden Journey for me, by miles.
For the last 20 years, if you'd...
Given that the Harry Potter Studio Tour already exists, does anyone think that some sort of deal/collaboration/merger/takeover/rebrand/whatever is possible there? Isn't that kinda where Universal Studios Theme Parks originated from anyway? Turning an actual movie studio into a themed attraction...
I'm a proper Universal fan boy and would dearly love for this to come to fruition... but, hmm, I dunno... I'm not convinced just yet. If I was a Universal boss, I'd take one look at the decade-long London Resort fiasco and be like "Nah man, sod that, can't get anything built in the UK, they're...
Oooh you lucky boy. Love Port Aventura, me. 2 potential Top 10'ers there for you I reckon. When are you planning to go? It's a great resort, but it can also be very frustrating if crowd levels are expected to be high. If this is a family holiday, you need to drum it into your folks that Fast...
Are we doing a CF's Favourite Coasters this year @Hixee , @Hyde , @Pokemaniac ? Well, just in case, here's my 2 cents worth.
I make no apologies for accuracy or any discrepancies with previous lists I may have posted - I've practically given up on ranking coasters these days, it's just too...
Cue that story of the 'Woman Who Married a Rollercoaster' in 3...2...1....
Nice topic, and I'm inclined to say yes. In a similar vein, wasn't there a topic some time ago about 'Are Coasters Male or Female?' Or something like that? To that, I would say that some are most definitely female...
Wrooooongggggg, so wrong, all of you. Numpties.
Clearly, anything with a soundtrack by John Williams wins by default. The obvious example being Rise of the Resistance, all 18 glorious minutes of it, but shout outs to any of the original Jurassic Park rides, any of the Indiana Jones rides, the...
