Moved across to the USJ thread. :)

It looks like one of those things that may look a bit rubbish in POVs and require the actual on-ride experience to work well (for example, the camera seemed to be obstructed by the front of the train for quite a bit of this). Then again, it's hard to see how anything but the front row will be any good for this at all.

Plus, I agree with @Jamesss - the indoor bits don't look very well finished, do they?
 
I'm expecting it to look and actually be slow - it's all about seeing the effects that hopefully fool you. Also ridable for gamers not into thrills.

This is too close to opening for me to watch a POV. Spoilers n all no matter how much I followed construction and rumors. But these comments don't inspire confidence. Do the 'jump' tracks at least appear effective 😟??
 
I was kinda hoping the launches out of the barrels would be faster at least.

Also I'm a bit disappointed that they didn't use the Mine Cart Madness theme, but I'm hoping they at least cycle through all the different tracks.

The indoor part still looks a bit unfinished but the ride looks decent for a family coaster
 
At least this means when Epic Universe opens I can just skip Nintendo World as nothing there is of interest now. More time for the other lands!
 
Astonishingly Mine Cart Madness only has a queue of 100 minutes currently whilst 6 other rides have longer waits!

Don’t know what it was like this morning. Can only assume there’s a strict capacity limit on the area (within an area already limited) as opposed to it being a throughput monster.
 
Looking at other POVs, it seems like they're trying to compensate for the lack of theming in that one indoor tunnel with some clever lighting. I'd be interested to see if universal can make a longer ride with a bigger indoor space and a lot more special track effects using this ride system, because it doesn't seem like this ride is making use of the ride system's full potential. It definitely seems like these minecart madness clones will be held back by needing to be crammed into such a tight space at USJ. Even given all the constraints, this looks like a great family coaster, using visuals to add more thrills while keeping the layout tame enough for kids to be allowed to ride.
