What 'Exclusive'/Rare Cred's Do You Have?

Ooh I have the Strawberry Junior Coaster that was at some vile dump of a caravan park near Fantasy Island ;D

^ That did come from Fantasy Island, so there may be others that have that one. Me included :p

Oh, also, I have that Flying Fish clone that travels around the France, "Chattanooga Choo Choo"!

Theres this shark rollercoaster in a shopping mall in Istanbul that I got to go on when I was visiting family. It has a 90 degree turn in the middle of its lift hill, and has made it onto the "weird wacky" coasters thread!

http://rcdb.com/3608.htm?p=0

I have only ridden 54 coasters so far, so its nice to have such a bizzare cred in my otherwise predictable list.

the Big Apple at Hastings

I also have that cred as well as the awful Chance Toboggan mentioned earlier in the topic :)

Some other rare creds that I've got would be the Beastie and The Bush Beast, formerly of Wonderland Sydney which is no longer there - they were great woodies and it's a shame they've gone.

I went to Rainbow's End theme park in New Zealand which has an interesting mine train coaster called Goldrush and their Corkscrew coaster, which whilst common, the park itself isn't somewhere that's mentioned much.

I'm going to say jungle coaster at Legoland Windsor (before the hoods)
It was a much better experience, and I know quite a few who only ride it with the hoods so knew the coaster as just annoying.

I have a couple of rides in my count that might qualify for this.

Sidewinder at Elitch Gardens - Certainly not 'exclusive' since I'm sure that just about everyone who's been to Pleasure Beach Blackpool (which, at the very least, has to be a great deal of our British members :) ) has ridden an Arrow launched loop, but I'd definitely call it 'rare,' as there are only 3 such coasters still operating today.

Looping Coaster and Star Jet in Seaside Heights, NJ - Again, not exactly 'exclusive' now since they were probably ridden by tons of people, quite a few enthusiasts among them I'm sure, during their operational lifespan. But they'll become more exclusive as the years pass on, since they're in no shape anymore to be taking on new riders...

Along those same lines of Coasters Nobody Will Ever Get To Ride Again, I could also say:
- Big Bad Wolf (which I'll concede is weak sauce, since that was a marquee ride at a marquee park for 25 years & carried millions of riders)
- Python at BGT (not a marquee ride, but still ran for 30 years at a major park, so tons of people have ridden that)
- and Hypersonic XLC (which carried much fewer riders due to a far shorter operational life, tiny capacity & constant downtime, but still is probably not that exclusive considering the gobs of enthusiasts that must've been excited to try this unique launch)

And then in Marcus & Jordan's category of Coasters That I Rode Before They Were Heavily Altered (which is questionable as a response to this topic, but meh.. who cares), there's:
- Skyrush (but of course it remains to be seen how much that one actually ends up changing), and...
- Original I305, which is to say the completely un-trimmed, non-retracked version of that ride that existed for all of about one month (also the version that is primarily responsible for it staying as my #1 coaster... holy hell it was glorious). Again, probably ridden by hundreds, maybe thousands of enthusiasts during that time period, but I'd still wager that I'm one of a relatively small group on here who's ridden it. Probably also one of an equally small group who did or would have enjoyed it, too.

But if we're getting down to brass tacks, I'd say the most rare & exclusive coasters I've ridden were the ones at Hard Rock Park/Freestyle Music Park, which as many of you know, only opened for 2 seasons before folding completely. To my knowledge, only a handful of people on here have ridden those.. and based on the lousy attendance figures during those 2 years, doesn't seem like a whole lot of people from anywhere else rode them either! :p

Caterpillar Coaster at Biloxi Crawfish Festival. It was a US traveling coaster that stopped traveling in '08. It was my first coaster in April 2007. It was like a wacky worm but I remember it being a bit taller and longer. it coould've been a SDC Galaxi with a Wacky Worm Train? :p I got Disaster Transport at Cedar Point but tons of people rode it so its not really rare. A new rare cred I'll get in a little over 2 weeks is Cannonball Run at Waterville USA in Gulf Shores, Alabama. I bet hardly anyone even knows about that ride.

My mom has a couple rare creds. Zephyr at Pontrain Beach was her first roller coaster. She also THINKS she has Texas Cyclone from Six Flags AstroWorld. They went to go visit their older sister in Houston and stopped by for a couple hours. She's not really sure if she rode it or not but she knows for sure she went to the park. They could've gotten Texas Tornado or Viper but I think they only rode Texas Cyclone because my relatives are **** scared of "big" roller coasters. She's ridden the old EPCOT and Magic Kingdom rides, but no old coasters.

My uncle, aunt, and two cousins have the Six Flags New Orleans creds.

I guess by grandfather and grandmother have gotten Cyclone at Coney Island when they lived in New York in the 50's but there 83 and 86 years old and they're losing memory so I wouldn't bother asking. Not so rare, but the fact that they rode it in the 50's it's rare, even though a ton of people rode it back then probally a handful of people have ridden it in that time.

That's pretty much it I guess.

^^Jer, Kimi & I have done Star Jet at Casino Pier & Looping Coaster at Funtown Pier, that were destroyed by Hurricane Sandy (Snoo might have too). I've also got Led Zeppelin - The Ride as well as the other credz at Hard Rock Park & I rode I305 in all its glory several times, including some epic nighttime ERT before any changes were made. And so many of us have ridden Big Bad Wolf, that it probably shouldn't count tbh.

Thriller on the German fair circuit immediately comes to mind. Pretty sure there aren't too many people outside of Germany that have that one.

Roller Coaster at Kiddie Park Of San Antonio.

Galaxi at Hemisphere in San Antonio, Texas.

These United States at Sun Fun Park in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Black Witch at Magic Harbor in Surfside Beach & Corkscrew at Myrtle Beach Pavilion (both in South Carolina).

Pedro's Mouse at South Of The Border in Dillon, South Carolina.

Both sides of Batman And Robin: The Chiller at Six Flags Great Adventure. As well as both Lightning Loops, Viper, Shockwave & Ultra Twister.

Dania Beach Hurricane at Boomers in Southern Florida.

X Coaster at Magic Springs & Crystal Falls in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Tornado & Teddy Bear at Stricker's Grove (the park is only open to the public about 5 times a year).

Avalancha at Xetulul & the other coasters in Guatemala (especially Montaña Rusa at Parque Diversiones, which still isn't listed on RCDB).

Not quite as rare, but many don't have Speed - The Ride at Nascar Cafe in Las Vegas, Nevada.

How about Montaña Rusa & Raton Loco in Tijuana, Mexico? Only CFers are Chris (rollermonkey) & I that have them.

Anyone else besides Snoo & I have Blue Streak at Conneaut Lake Park? Or how about Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom?

I don't think anyone on here has Canyon Flyer at Glenwood Caverns in Colorado or Iron Shark at Galveston Pier in Texas yet.

There are a bunch more isolated coasters throughout the USA that no one else on here has, but I won't list them all because they're not that rare - just way off the beaten path.

Finally dare I mention the coasters at Karolinalund in Denmark that we got during the CF-Live.

Even with all that I still can't touch Gavin.

Snoo

Slapped both those creds in Jersey back in 2008 with UC. Also don't know ANYONE on here who has been to Conneaut Lake Park. In fact, I don't know many who have it anyway.

The oversized butterfly in the Spanish fair circuit (called el Baden). I highly doubt that many enthusiasts have this one ridden. On the other hand almost all the coasters in Canary Isles seems really rare for the people up here

Blame furie for mentioning BBW first, I was just following suit! But yeah like I said, none of the stuff I listed is really all that rare or exclusive except perhaps the HRP stuff. Only CF'ers that I know have done them are you, Canobiefan, CP6 (who isn't an active member anymore anyway), and myself. I'd put money on rollermonkey having them too given his count. There may be more of us who have them, but I'm sure it's a low number.

I dont know how rare they are, but most of mine have been either removed, destroyed, or heavily modified.

I've ridden Great American Scream Machine and Chiller quite a few times, before they were dismantled

I've gotten Star Jet and Looper on the Jersey Shore before they were destroyed

Then i've ridden Skyrush and El Toro before they were modified. For those who are unaware, El Toro's lift was slowed at the top due to the forces.

So, i'm not sure how exclusive, or rare these are, but they are special to me.

Don't blame me

I just assume nobody reads my posts and put in any old crap. It's your fault for not just typing in a +1 reply :p

Windjammer at KBF, not really rare, but I did get both creds and since they always broke down, it could be something deemed rare.

Flashback at SFMM

Several of the rides at Astroworld before it closed, Viper, Mayan Mindbender, XLR8, Greezed Lightnin, Serpent, and I think Texas Cyclone, but I'm not sure as I was 5 the last time I was there, but I seem to recall riding it.

Intricks

Blue Streak and Little Dipper at Conneaut (Blue Streak was my first Big Boy coaster at 4).

Lazer Loop at Kennywood.

I guess some fair circuit coasters, but moat everyone has those ones except for this odd, 4D Butterfly that Ive only seen twice (and nabbed both times  ).

Thats it I believe.

Jet Coaster, Dragon and Atomic Coaster at Seoul Dreamland, which none o' ya'll **** ers have got, or will get, since the park's gone and the creds RIPPED out. Atomic Coaster was the only decent one, but it's a clone anyway: a Meisho shuttle loop.

Insane Speed, which I know nobody has, plus G5: the Oblivion mirror clone. So EXCLUSE!

Have I won yet?

Fine. GRAVITY MAX: the world's first, and only, Vekoma tilt coaster. Suck it!

Did you get the Rollerskater on the east coast of Taiwan?

Of your list of exclusives, I have the ones I left. The rest, no. You got me beat on them.

But I have exclusivity on the coaster that was at the Kodomo No Kuni near Miyazaki. Near as i can tell they had never had a Western visitor before me, and Lisa Scheinin got spited a few months later when she got to the park and the coaster was gone.

I think I have a bunch of Japanese creds that only Lisa has.

Also, I'm probably the only one with the old coaster on Sentosa that closed more than ten years before Universal Singapore was announced. Adventure Asia or some such.

Oh, and I have the powered coaster on Guam.

The only one for me that comes to mind when I think of this topic is High Hazel Mine Mine Coaster at Wheelgate Adventure Park up near Nottingham. It was called Runaway Train when myself and Tomatron somehow managed to blag our way into the park and ride it!

Wheelgate is park of the same chain who owns Twinlakes, so no adults without children! Their child age is under 14 but we got in somehow despite me being 14/15 at the time!

None others really come to mind.
