Walibi Holland | YoY | RMC Raptor | 2025

I rode these just over a week ago. We bought the "guaranteed entry" timeslot tickets which did basically act as fast track (I think they've stopped doing them now though) and that was good job because the queues were long. Well, they were for the Thrill side, not so much for Chill. There were also technical issues with Thrill during the day, which meant lots of people rode Chill without the duelling aspect.

These were my first RMC Raptors and due to the queues we only had one ride on each. To be honest though, none of us were really upset about that. There was nothing about them that screamed re-ride, and I couldn't really remember anything noteworthy about either side 5 minutes after getting off 🤷‍♂️ As @Rob Coasters mentioned, you feel the bump of every transition between track sections, and the trains were bouncy, with an uncomfortable seating position.

Positives were the interactions, some good airtime on Chill, a nice colour scheme and train design (even down to having wheels with colours that matched the track) but overall these were a big meh based on one ride. I preferred Intamin's single rail coaster at Luna Park in Sydney, and that was pretty bouncy too.

Sounds like YoY rides very similarly to the other RMC Raptors. However, without the breakneck intensity of the others, the juice might not be worth the squeeze.

I'm curious how the ride ends up received by the GP who approach the ride without any preconceived expectations.

Walibi Holland also seems to strongly target a youth/teen demographic, so they might be more tolerant to a bit of discomfort.
