The Jer development topic! [Songbird 8/13/16]

Hey guys I figured that if I'm back to the full swing of NL I may as well make one of these topics. So I'm going to start it off with my current new project. Focus a traveling coaster.

I made this as a coaster, just a coaster, no specific brand, or build type, just a ride.

Current Stats:
Height: 110ft
Speed: 52mph
Length: 2034ft
Drop Angle: ~112*

For the most part the track work is all done and gs are all in check, i'm just supporting the ride.

Excuse the double but I have some new screens showing off the full layout:

Feedback is much appreciated!

Ooh my that looks nice. I actually like the color scheme. Especially for a traveling coaster. Can't wait for the download!

^No the max Gs are only a little over 4

Some more stats:
Max Positive Gs: 4.5
Max Negative Gs: -1.2
Space: 31x50m (smaller than Alpina Bahn)
Trains: 4 (Purple, Red, Yellow, and Green) 8 passengers per train.

I'm probably going to add some fences form the CS Park pack, and make some on and off ramps for the stations.

again excuse the double, I finished the video just now, and expect the release of focus tomorrow!

Focus

I was very impressed by this. I thought that the layout was really nice, my only criticism was that some of the sharp turns just didn't feel right. The most noticable one was that low-level 90* banked piece of track that runs along the edge of the ride area. I just didn't really do it for me.

The trackwork was really nice, very smooth and mostly pump-free (I did feel one on one of the larger drops) and the track weaved really nicely within itself.

Good job, I liked that one. 8.5/10

Introducing Aileron named after my favorite car (The Spyker C8 Aileron). The ride which is inspired by Formula Rossa has a 110mph launch is is on the intense side pulling 4.5gs on the turn after the launch. Like rossa it is trimmed, however the trims dont come until after the first airtime hill pulling a sustained -1.0gs.

Stats (i'll add a new one at every update):
Height: 139ft

Looks nice and drawn out.

(btw, an Aileron is a control surface on the trailing edge of the wing on an aircraft, and is used for roll control)

Finished up the layout, I'd like to apologize right now because the layout is very spread out i need 4 screenshots the highlight the end.

looking forward to your feedback :)

I'm just wondering why you didn't put a stat in like promised. :P

It looks fun, I'm no expert or anything, but I like it. Looks huuge.

Again just swimming in replies, anyway I made a launch track and brake fins for the trims, some pics. Wish the orange catch car worked.

Another small update, I was running 2 trains earlier with a lot of block brake problems (running 2 trains on the track at once without one in the station is generally bad) So I converted one of the brake runs into a station and added a 3rd trains, hopefully now the capacity wont suck.

2 stations to improve capacity.

and a close of the trains color scheme (colors to what else....spyker colors)

What could make this ride any sexier? Supports!

also out of boredem i made a quick teaser for the launch just to show how fast it really is.
