SeaWorld San Antonio | Family Inverted Coaster

ThrillNerds

Roller Poster
Some light news today of a ~9 million dollar family inverted coaster going into SeaWorld. Here is the Licensing page for the project

This seems like an odd location for them to want to put a coaster, as there is not a ton of room between Steel Eel and WaveBreaker. At just under 9 Million, i cant imagine this will be very big, as Phoenix Rising for example, was estimated around 24 Million.

Thoughts? Maybe a Vekoma?

Out of curiosity, what’s your source for the Phoenix Rising cost?

I only ask as that doesn’t seem right to me. $24m is big coaster money, whereas Phoenix Rising is not a particularly big coaster. I know B&M are a premium manufacturer, but even still, the $9m mooted for this is closer to what I’d have expected Phoenix Rising to cost than $24m.

You are absolutely right. the figures i looked up dont match and now I can not find. however, looks like there is public liens on the removal of sand serpent which are over 3 million, on top of whatever the ride cost, as well as associated ride construction costs, Id imagine that hits close to 20 million.
