"Rocky River Falls" Log Flume for Wicksteed Park -

Went to the park yesterday and have taken guite a few pics of the new logflume construction - here are some to start with il post some more later.

What model of a flume is it?

Is it one of them small travelling ones?

haha, i live like 2 minutes down the road from Wicksteed Park!! Refering to Bens post, Well my sister worked there a couple of years ago.. I think it maybe 3 years ago, and the word was going all around the staff. So i think wicksteed had this planned for a couple of years now. I am personally surprised they have the funds.

the pieces of the flume seem way too big for the travelling ones, went on a travelling one on wednesday and most of the pieces for it were tiny.

So maybe it could be like the one at Loudown Castle (sp?)

Its pretty much a kids flume with only 1 drop.

Oh, so it isn't the **** travelling model I expected!

It kinda remidns me of Gulliver's in Warrington!

Looks like they are trying hard with themeing on this one and the logs are now on site in a building behing the go kart track

The ride is developing very well with lots of themeing and a waterfall going on above the waterfall.

yes it is, and just before it arrived at the park it is at now it spent time in storage at camelot, it caused quite a stur on the day kinghtmare opened :lol:

Seems a waste if it was, well you can them Wild River flumes, which have 2 drops and take up hardly any space, compared to this..!
