Beating Hyperia - Mack Launch Hyper concept - Niles' Coaster Creations

For a while I've been thinking of a modern take on the Intamin 10 inversion coaster that breaks the 14 inversion record, while still only having one lift, the same height and taking up the same or less space than the orginal.

Here is my 15 Inversion consept

Im a big fan of dueling coasters so i made this little Gravity Group Woodie that has been on my mind, it has a track cross over, station fly through, high five moment, loads of air and laterals.

I have been fascinated by the never built Alton Towers cross valley coaster and wanted to make my own coaster inspired by it and the valley it would have been on.

With a max height of 108ft its pretty high but the biggest drop is 219ft making it the biggest drop on any wood coaster ever, its also the fastest at 80mph.


I only wanted one lift so there was no long mid dead spot so the layout had to be condensed so the coaster could climb back to the station, its length is only 3222ft.

That's actually a way better layout than the 2005 planned woodie. That layout was basically lift hill, huge drop, hill climb, turnaround, lift hill, huge drop, hill climb and back to the station.

I have allways liked the Swarm but in a graceful chill way, i allways wanted it to be a bit more intense so here is my version.

I think the S&S 4th dimension coaster would have worked well for the theme as you can have the seats in a flying, laying, forward or backwards position. I tried to have the coaster do all these during the layout.

I had an idea of how to take the height and speed record from Hyperia, can i see a park in the UK building something like this, naa not really but i can dream.

The coaster just beats Hyperia at 239ft and 83mph.

It also hits 4.5 Pos G and 1.5 Neg G as well as having the worlds fastest inversion at 74mph.
