Personally I don't find anyone on this years list to be exactly groundbreaking or interesting. The 'winner', Ellie Goulding is one in a long line of wispy voiced singers to emerge in the past couple of years and has been granted a lovely ticket to possible stardom. I'm not entirely sure she deserves it though.
With the list being compiled by music critics I sometimes feel that we are expected to like these artists because they are deemed excellent by a select few.
