I went on opening day as well! I had one ride before I had to leave for the day. Even if I was near the front, I still had to wait a long while. 😭
But the ride was worth the wait. Shame I didn’t get to choose my row, but I managed to get a rollback on said ride! (As in, the train stopped on the...
Brand new Top 10 after riding AlpenFury:
01. AlpenFury, Canada's Wonderland. It. Is. Incredible. The greatest roller coaster that I have ridden, and the greatest ride in Canada. Upside down ejector airtime, punchy ass launches that'll steal your lunch if you're not careful, and nine...
AlpenFury, Canada's Wonderland, 2025 (07-12-2025)
Incredible. My new #1. You get UPSIDE DOWN EJECTOR on the inversions. You heard me right. UPSIDE DOWN EJECTOR. I don't know HOW this is possible, but they did it.
MAD props to Canada's Wonderland and Premier Rides.
As you might notice, I'm relatively new to the coaster scene. As such, I might have a few questions, along with other people.
I wanna start this thread with my question: What do the red, blue, and yellow flags mean on a roller coaster's lift hill? For instance, on The Voyage and Ravine Flyer...
Oh boy, here we go again. Just 10 here, not more.
1. Wildcat's Revenge. (ridden) Insane. Extremely consistent from the front to the back, with so much whip. My overall #2.
2. ArieForce One. (not ridden) That pacing looks like it's from hell. It's like a fighter jet through its inversions.
3...
Ok, new rare opinion:
The old Intamin OTSRs are not bad with soft straps.
These get a lot of hate for obvious reasons, but with soft straps, I actually find them comfortable! Weird, I know. I'm smaller in stature, so I think it makes a little sense (I'm 5'7" for reference). I've had 3...
Wonder Mountain's Guardian at Canada's Wonderland. Especially for a first-timer. Not only do you shoot random characters on screen, but you get absolutely YEETED downward with the drop track. It's so unexpected and makes sure people are absolutely terrified.
New and improved top 20, with the new for 2025 credits in color:
1. Storm Runner, Hersheypark. That launch, man... it's insane. Wow. You get insane airtime on the top hat, plus the cobra loop crushed me into my seat. Also, the Flying Snake Dive gave me insane hangtime. No wonder I rode it six...
Ladies and gentlemen… we did it.
01: Taxi Jam, Canada’s Wonderland
05: Vortex, Canada’s Wonderland
10: Brucomela, Birak Park
15: Leviathan, Canada’s Wonderland
20: Millennium Force, Cedar Point
25: Steel Vengeance, Cedar Point
30: Incredicoaster, Disney California Adventure
35: West Coast...
After spending the day at Hersheypark, I now have 7 new credits! I’m ranking them here as well.
1. Storm Runner: Absolutely MENTAL. That is not a launch, that is a teleportation. 0-72 in 2 seconds. But it also packs in 3 inversions. The heartline roll on that flying snake dive is just pure...
First two new creds of 2025; Impulse and Phoenix at Knoebels Amusement Resort!
Impulse: HOLY **** WHAT IS THIS RIDE?! It’s MENTAL! Easily top 5 for me. The restraints are so comfy and I almost felt like I was going to fall out! That inline twist gave me ELITE hangtime!!! Happy 10th anniversary...
Here goes. Updated for 2025.
10. Voltron Nevera, Europa-Park. Beyond-vertical launch, ejector airtime, and a double Immelmann. Looks like an elite ride.
9. Taiga, Linnanmäki. Tall, fast, long and full of ǝɯıʇƃuɐɥ, probably the best coaster in Finland (who am i kidding, it is).
8. GhostRider...
I wanted to try out something new: what's the maximum height, speed, length, inversions, whatever, on a roller coaster that you've achieved in your life?
I'm sorry if there's already a thread like this.
Mine is:
Height: 310 feet (Millennium Force, Cedar Point)
Speed: 93 mph (Millennium Force...
