Re: "Now Showing"
The Forest:
The start of the horrors of 2016! Yes!
A film about the 'suicide forest' set in Japan?!
Shame that the typical Japanese horror style was missing...
The acting was fair, the plot was okay. It was one of those films that messes with your mind so you never know...
Re: "Now Showing"
I must say, on the whole I completely agree. I went to see Krampus with very low expectations, having seen a couple of Christmas horror films, watched the trailer and thought 'oh my this looks like trash'. Problem is I hate to miss a horror at the cinema, so off I went.
I...
Oh my gosh, this ride has a very similar sounding name to mine. I wonder if that's why all you guys who don't know me are making these incredibly sexualised jokes. That's really cute :')
But also, it does look amazing, I can't wait to get to Phantasia next year!
Re: Europa Park Disability Restrictions
Thank you so much for that, I'll drop them an email before I go, unfortunately all I have is a letter written by the neurologist, but most parks accept doctors notes as a form of proof...
Anyone who knows me will know I adore Europa, but today I found myself incredibly disappointed with the park.
I was recently diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, I struggle with queues because the disorder really affects my legs. I thought, with an upcoming trip there for Horror Nights, I'd check...
The Conjuring
Contrary to what it seems most people think, I really enjoyed this. There were great scares, good acting and a neat plot. Unfortunately, the ending was a little too happy, and the trailer really does reveal all the decent scares. I'm also not a big fan of 'based on a true story'...
I promise that I will have a trip report done by Saturday, hopefully before that. Be warned, it will be my first trip report and I expect to sound like a five year old child handing in their 'what I did over summer' homework. :)
Infection
This is a Japanese film, one of few decent ones that haven't been butchered by the Americans. Its about an understaffed, badly run hospital, one day there's a huge mistake, and one of the patients falls off his bed, and he is pretty much dead before the doctors get there, but then one...
Don't think I said anything about it yet, which is shocking as it is my favourite film of this year...
Les Miserables
This was STUNNING, from the opening scene, to the closing scene. The singing was amazing (aside from Russell Crow, who was USELESS). And the singing was all live, apart from...
Horror films nowadays annoy me, the Americans refuse to make intelligent films, they would rather make copies of all the popular films, hope no one notices how similar they are, kill them, then kill them some more, and suckers like me still go to watch them hoping for something decent. Unlike...
HUUUUUUUUUUUH, HOW? Oldboy was fab, never saw any of the twists coming, and I didn't have to watch it a million and one times to understand what was going on, unlike every other Japanese film ever...
Whilst I'm here
Dark Skies
Its Insidious, with aliens. Slightly better done as the aliens...
Audition
Recently re-watched this, for the third time, with my dad. Now feel like I can write something decent about it. The basic plot line is: a man loses his wife, and years later, his son tells him to get back out there, he and his friend set up some auditions to find him a wife, he decides...
I just watched the video, and I am FUMING. Sorry, why should I feel sorry for these 'people'? If you cared about your career, no matter how drunk or whatever you are, you wouldn't rape someone. These people are sick, and trying to cover it up is just as bad. How about considering how that poor...
Re: Alton Towers | SW7 | Unknown Gerstlauer World's 1st
I just read like fifteen pages of this topic, and... First of all, whatever the secret element is, I don't want to know until I go on it. Second of all, the name The Smiler sounds a bit lazy, and like someone went 'just call it that' -...
Sinister
Okay, this was actually a really good movie. The acting was decent, the story line was good, the scares were often and it was very very tense. In fact, it was so tense and scary, that I, ME, I was watching through my fingers towards the end. Congratulations to whoever chose the kids...
Re: Technology moment that freaked you out when it was nothi
I was with my friend messing around on her Blackberry, and she put on some recording of white noise, and it was really annoying, so I told her to turn it off, and she tried to stop it, and it wouldn't, and then she turned off the...
Spiders </3 Seriously, if it's any bigger than my thumb nail, I'm shouting to my dad or my brother to get rid of it... And the dark (says the horror fanatic, who wonders why.......) I am terrified of the dark, outside, in the house, at other people's houses, I am petrified.
