Wow thanks for that :) Some awesome pictures!
Wish rides such as the Skyway look as good now as they did then.
It's reminded me I have a load of pictures from Legoland's opening years which I should upload.
Thanks again
Nice to see someone else who's visited the park.
I've been a few times and personally I think it's a great park. However it used to be better when the other side of the park was open, there used to be a duelling powered coaster and the SLC used to be over there.
Overall the theming is...
Re: LC12 - B&M 'Wing-Rider', Thorpe Park 2012
This is looking to be awesome, can I ask if B&M still have there maximum or 3 coasters in a year 'rule' ?
Whilst maybe taking a break from 'Worlds Firsts' might be a good idea, I still think they should stick to 'new/rare' ride types to this country. E.g. Woodie's, hypers/airtime coasters etc
I personally think going for ride types such as the B&M Floorless would be a step backwards in parks like...
Never understood the hate for Colossus to be honest. Yeah, it can be a tad bumpy, but I really do think it's a great ride, certainly my favourite at Thorpe. Oh and this year it seems to be running faster and smoother than I can remember, IMO at least. :)
Absolutely epic day at Hocus Pocus! :D
Such a great event and the park looks amazing throughout the Halloween period :)
Was gutted to find out the night before that Vampire was likely to be closed but well done to the Chessington team who got it up and running, wouldn't have been Halloween...
I was at the park on the same day (would've come but a family outing was arranged years ago!) And it looked like you all were having a fantastic time. I was actually in the Vampire station as you were being sent off and it looked absolutely epic.
Especially jealous of the Vampire trackwalk...
For me, Alton at No.1 is no question, and like some others can't see how it could "really" be any of the others.
And then quite a close No.2 for me is Chessy. A park with a really nice selection of rides and a phenomenal atmosphere.
Miles below those 2 in a hole somewhere is Thorpe... :P
Wow, all of those look awesome, I used to make them or at least attempt to make them :P
Although at the moment I'm selling a load of sets on Ebay, Screamin Serpent is starting tonight in case anyone is interested. :)

I must say I disagree, I think this would be a very bad decision. Just look at how unpopular Splash Battle is at Alton, 10 minute queue on a summers day! Water Rides like this, don't work in countries with cool climates like the UK...
To be honest, ever since I was a very young age ( 8 or 9 ) I have been the one who's dragged whoever I was with on. I always get extremely excited ( I'm a very excitable person :P ) . However the ride that probably makes me the most scared now, is Detonator at Thorpe Park, No matter how many...
