We'll start to see some more balanced reviews once the hype dies down. No pun intended.
This 'best in the UK' thing is quite laughable.
The 'most weightless coaster' claim is also really cloying because the way it's written doesn't make any sense, unless that steel is actually extremely low...
I'll have added two to this list by the end of the month, but for now...
Katun
Nemesis
Vampire
Black Mamba
Oziris
Monster
Nemesis Inferno
'Shadows of Arkham' (as it's apparently called at the moment)
I rode Monster several times - it was back in 2010, but as a big fan of inverts, I've never...
Ride to Happiness 2: Electric Boogaloo, surely.
To be fair, the place needs something to put it back on the map. It's been a long time since EGF and those models aren't the crowd pleasers they once were.
Yeah - I'd seen. I'm just going to have to accept it will probably be closed rather than driving myself mad looking at updates and clinging onto hope :(
Maybe Snoopy's Soap Box thingy and open early and redeem matters 🤣 🤣
I've seen Thorpe do this before - they add a new ride, look like they've turned a corner with the place looking shiny and cared for - and then leave the place to fall apart for the next decade or so. I guess they probably all do - but that's where it's most noticeable.
So, the answer, probably...

That does seem strange. The only time I (personally) remember doing that was when the air ambulance landed on Towers Street. I didn't know why it was there either - in fact, I still don't really - but I didn't want loonies outside of the park (or the media) to start making **** up.
Croatia were robbed, the whole Netherlands thing feels a bit suss... but it's unfair to take away from Switzerland really - amazing staging and in a different year, that would have been one of the catchier songs.
I did predict Norway would do badly, but I've checked out some of their other...
Yeah, Slovenia's song left me cold - if it's any consolation, the UK tried to send softcore porn as well and it's pretty awful :D
Glad to hear some love for Norway - it doesn't feel like it belongs there, but musically, it's great. One of the best tonight, along with the Netherlands...
Took me ages to find this topic :D
It's that wonderful time of year again. Watched SF1 with my best friend from school on Tuesday (his taste in music is horrible, but Ireland and Iceland were our only real disagreements!)
I'm majorly on the Croatia bandwagon this year (even bought a football...
Much needed - aside from DC Rivals, I remember describing that place as being home to the unholy trinity of awful ride types.
As at 2018 - the weakest of the Gold Coast parks.
Really not my favourite ride type, though I figure it'll be quite an experience - but this is one of the first coasters I remember seeing on TV and going 'I've got to get out there and ride this some day' so I've been watching this with more excitement than I usually have for a construction...
Ah, it's taken until today for somebody to mention Fantasy Island - which is the obvious candidate in my book.
Think 'best rides in the country' and you'll inevitably give me a list of Merlin coasters, possibly throwing in Icon or Nash, maybe even Megafobia. The two Skeggy Vekomas are actually...
Yessss :)
A really well themed breakdance to replace Sub Terra would be marvellous. I'd settle for it at the bottom of X Sector, but it would seem more poetic in the valley.
Some people seem to be getting quite excited about the topspin - and as cynical as I normally am, having seen the effort...
That section attached to the monorail doesn't look like anything particularly interesting.
I've been more intrigued by the development on what was obviously the access pathway at the top of the ride by the queue line - I've seen piping and construction vehicles there a couple of times.
