Something similar happened at Busch Gardens Williamsburg back in the eighties. I remember the newscast like it was yesterday.

I've only been to Emerald Pointe in the 80's, the King's Dominion water park, White Water(Arlington, TX) and Wet 'N Wild(Arlington, TX). White Water was awesome from what I remember....we're talking mid-eighties here. Wet 'N Wild and White Water were right next to each other on some highway...
Doesn't surprise me. The Six Flags there is insane with people fighting in the park and breaking lines, etc. I asked the security where I could buy a beer in the park and he laughed at me saying "These people would kill each other if we sold alcohol here".

Weird, a buddy of mine told me about it and I googled it and I got a dead link that says July 20th at Kings Dominion but I can't find it anywhere on their tour dates. Dunno.
Demon Drop at either SFOT, SFOG, or both. They both kinda blend together for me. I think both parks had one but I'm not 100%. After that it was Drop Zone at King's Dominion. That thing screwed me up good the first time I rode it. I swear I thought I was having a heart attack. I'm fine with...
