I'm having problems installing some CTRs and CS sets. The CS sets don't show up and the CTRs freeze the game whenever I try to use them. I get out of RCT3 and it says there's a track error- 0 of 160. I only have this problem with .rar files. I extract them into folders, clean out the readmes...
Yesss! Just about to say this! I love that sound!
I'd also say Arrow chainlifts and the sound some B&Ms make when they engage the lift hill. Nitro's comes to mind as my favorite.
Re: LocaJoy Holiday | Unknown | Intamin 10 inversion
It wouldn't really make sense to use a double-spine on a coaster that doesn't need it. The track here doesn't need the extra supporting provided by a double spine. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the double spine is more expensive than...
Re: Six Flags Magic Mountain | "Full Throttle" | multi launc
If it doesn't launch out of the station, then it'll move to an actual launch section. If that's the case, that's a pretty short area for a launch.
(From TPR)
For pure aesthetics, Skyrush's trains stand out to me. Too bad they hurt like a *****.
For my actual favorite trains, probably the old school B&M hyper trains. They're just so comfortable and ride so well.
Yeah, Nitro's loud, especially when it first engages the lift. Very loud when you're on the stairs next to the bottom of the lift.
Then again, nothing can be louder than an Arrow lift hill. Classic coaster sound right there.
Re: B&M vs Intamin
Yup- basically what everyone's already said. I'll go with Intamin, though.
B&M are the perfectionists. You know what you're getting when you get on a B&M coaster. It'll be smooth, fast, and comfortable. It'll almost never be closed when you go to a park. With that said, I...
I personally think the Hershey rides have badass names- Stormrunner, Fahrenheit, Great Bear, Skyrush. Up north a little bit more you have Talon, which I think is fab too. Add in El Toro, Sheikra, Nitro, Tatsu, and Kawasemi.
For worst... not including "Roller Coaster", probably Rebel Yell. Why...
Re: Have you ever had a ride prediction that turned out righ
I don't make predictions often cause I'm extremely unlucky. The only time I ever really predicted something was that I thought Dorney Park would get a wooden coaster for 2012. They got Stinger instead.
If I may guess, I'll say that the leg restraints are because of Japan's stricter safety standards. They look a lot different from the rest of the restraint. Maybe the park added them on after they received the trains?
I'm kind of amazed at the El Tor comments, and really surprised how many people thought that it was unsafe just because it was wooden.
Also, lol at "its way to scary being its out doors, made of wood and looks unsafe. which it no doubt isnt. if it was inside it would get more riders who are...
I have no doubt that mega-lites are top 10 material. If I get to Asia/Denmark and get to ride one, it'll probably immediately shoot to my top 5, or 3. However, as I'm looking at this, I'm noticing that Mega-Lite had only 10 riders. I just wonder if every single mega-lite is the best thing ever...
Yeah, Shambhala at number 6? I haven't ridden, but considering some of the rides it beat out, I can't imagine it's that good. So glad to see Skyrush at number 7, though
Again, the noob in me is speaking here, but are mega-lites that good? The only one not in top 10 is Piraten.
