So a bit of an update regarding Loudon Castle.
Firstly it seems the proposal to build a golf course there is long gone. New plans see it host glamping pitches, a waterpark among other things. General info here...
Not sure if it has been mentioned previously seeing as there are 40 plus pages but did any of the other Infinity coasters close after the accident?
I presume not considering there isn't an exact clone of the Smiler?
Probably cost a fair bit to restore the wildmouse back to working condition. Imagine, like the Scenic all the wood will need replacing which won't come cheap. I am however sure after a few years we can start to see the more permanent attractions fly back in. Worth pointing out however that some...
Would be low maintance for them to leave it like that. Personaly, I would rather them have it painted.
On the planning application it stated the ride would be painted the colours of its last incarnation though I also read a comment that said the timber was done with and it would likely be left...

Re: Scenic Railway in Margate news
Went today and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Really informative and it was great to see such a large turnout. Let the ball roll!
Legoland has always been special to me, especially in my childhood. Yet the more they create, the more I disconnect from it.
It is like the Dungeons and Eye branding all over again. The London Eye was there first, now they have tried replicating the experience throughout the world. I know...
Hasn't stopped Thorpe before?
They could have easily got rid of it last year when it was partially deconstructed for half a season; they didn't.
Not saying they won't but I recon they could squeeze another year or two out of it if they wanted to.
