One of the earliest rides in the park, Blazing Fury is an indoor coaster style attraction. For the first part of the ride, guests ride past several scenes including several buildings "on fire". The final part of the ride features several unexpected drops before a final splashdown where riders in the front will most likely get wet

Mystery Mine is Dollywood's newest and most popular coaster. The first Gerstlauer Eurofighter built in the United States, Mystery Mine features drops, inversions, and themed dark ride sections. Guests board the themed 8-person vehicles and descend into the mine for two and a half minute ride.

Replacing Thunder Express, the park's mine train, Tennessee Tornado was one of Arrow Dynamic's last projects. While the track layout is rather short, the ride features a huge lift hill running up the side of the mountain. A quick spiral into a straight, tunnelled drop leads riders through a 110ft. vertical loop, overbank, more inversions, and another overbank.

The coaster itself was a great wooden twister nestled into the mountains with little pops of airtime throughout the layout. Thunderhead featured the world's first station fly-through, where the train roars through the station midway through the ride. While the ride is good during the day, it takes on a whole new character during the night where riders take the course in almost full darkness. Many still consider this ride the best in the park!

Opening with the County Fair section in 2005, Veggie Tales Sideshow Spin is a little coaster just for the kids! Themed after the popular kids shows and movies, Veggie Tales Sideshow Spin sends riders on 3 laps of the loop of track. While it won't be thrilling any older kids, Sideshow Spin is a great introduction for youngest potential coaster fans!
