Alabama Adventures (formerly Visionland) is located in central Alabama.  As is rather apparent from the map, the park is located rather far from much else in terms of civilization.  Still, the park is the largest in Alabama, featuring 3 coasters and several other attractions.  Alabama Adventures is split into 3 sections, Magic City USA, Splash Beach Waterpark, and Celebration Street.  Magic City is the largest area in the park, holding all the rides.  Splash Beach is the park's waterpark, which can be accessed along with the main park for a slightly higher fee.  Celebration Street is the entrance midway to the park, featuring shops and restaurants.

For a small regional park, Alabama Adventures has a good variety of rides and attractions.  Rampage is a very underrated wooden coaster, and certainly makes the park worth a trip if you're in the area.  When pressed for time, the park can be finished within a few hours, although it's worth a full day to slowly experience all the rides and attractions in both the amusement and water park.
