Darien Lake is western New York's place to be.  Previously owned by Six Flags and now controlled by Parc Management, the park features 6 large coasters and a number of other attractions (including a waterpark).  The park bares the mark of the great expansions made by Six Flags in the 90s, with an SLC, boomerang, and hyper coaster.  Now the Parc has taken over, guests can hopefully look to some new rides and continued additions to make this park great.  While there are a fair amount of coasters, the parks seems to lack in quality stand-out flat rides, something which will hopefully be addressed in coming years.  As it stands now, the park is a good day out or a fun quick trip if in the area.
