Park Information
Slap bang in the centre concourse of the Mall of America lies a theme park. Not just a few carnival type rides dumped on a bit of hard flooring...a proper damn theme park! If you don't look up at the ceiling, you would not think you are in the middle of a shopping mall. Everything is so clean and green. Shrubs, theming, log cabins etc transform you to a sort of Alice in Wonderland meets a kids TV show sort of atmosphere. It's wonderful.
The rides and the park in general is aimed mainly at kids (a good place to leave them whilst shopping!) but the rides and attractions there are well presented and effortlessly scream "fun" at you.
Rides are ridden by using tokens, of which you can buy in certain denominations. The more you buy, the cheaper it is. Each attraction would set you back about three tokens/credits. The grander the ride, the more it'll cost you.
Staff seem friendly and you could do the park quite easily in under an hour. Food can be brought from the food court that overlooks the park, where you'll find a host of America's best cuisine. Parking at the Mall is free and the quality of merchandise available is great, well worth checking out.
