Kings Island was recently brought from Paramount by Cedar Fair. Paramount could leave Kings Island with their heads held high. They managed to produce some of the best rides known in the world, made a great effort with themeing and have a great park layout that has something cool at every turn.
Kings Island is brimming with top quality, varied, impressive rides. Each one is different in terms of trills, inversions and fun factors. Although the majority of rides are aimed at adults/teenagers, there is a huge family/kiddie section complete with three coasters and plenty of low-octane rides. There is also a good range of flat rides to sit along side the coasters...there's a ride for everyone at Kings Island.
Staff are very friendly, efficient and appear to be knowledgeable about the rides they are operating and the park's history. They are also add to the ride experience by encouraging you to cheer and scream! Park merchandise is excellent; it's varied and good value for money. Food is available throughout the park and caters for everybody, although it's a lot easier to find a burger than a salad!
Entrance price is very reasonable considering the amount of rides and size of the park, having said that due to the size, a two-day pass may be better in busy summer months. It's lucky there are loads of hotels within a five minute drive of the park!
