Lost Coaster of Superstition Mountain is Indiana Beach's most unique coaster. Built inside a mountain and featuring an elevator style lift, the near-miss filled, fast-paced and seemingly random layout is a lot of fun! |

Lost Coaster of Superstition Mountain is, without question, one of the most unique roller coasters on the planet. It was originally a dark ride inside a fake mountain, but it 2002 Custom Coasters International, Inc. came in and made it into a real roller coaster. Sadly this was Custom Coasters International’s last project, as the company went bankrupt later that year.
Lost Coaster (to save writing the full name every time!) starts with a lift, but this one isn’t a hill. It’s an elevator style lift than hoists riders to the top of the mountain. After that it’s a tight twisting race down the mountain with some crazily sharp turns, sharp drop and near misses. The trains even have cages around them due to the proximity of some of the theming.
Riders sit four par car, but in pairs facing each other. With two cars per train Lost Coaster is a mad little ride that will shake you around and make you laugh all the way round. Want an extra thrill? Make sure you’re sitting facing backwards!
