Magnum XL-200 was the first major coaster built underneath the rule of present day Cedar Fair CEO Dick Kinzel. For his new coaster, Mr. Kinzel wanted to combine the good old fashion out and back coaster layout with the new steel coaster technology, to create an amazing experience, bridging the coasters of the past with the coaster of today and tomorrow.

What he got was the first ever Arrow Hyper coaster, the tallest and fastest roller coaster when it opened, and jam packed with enough airtime hills to make your mouth water. Magnum is often credited as being one of the few coasters that can hold its value even after all these years.
