When it opened in 1896 Waldameer was a small park, with some simple attractions. Over the years it's grown and grown and is now one the major theme parks in Pennsylvania. It's got great rides for everyone. |

Waldameer is free to enter, meanign you can just wander around and have a look at the rides without having to pay and entrance price. The rides are then done on a 'pay-per-ride' system, either with tokens or an unlimted wristband.
The ride selection is small, but fairly varied with something for everyone to enjoy. Whether this is the tame kiddie coaster (Ravine Flyer 3) or the intense wooden coaster (Ravine Flyer II) it's got enough vairety. The park has a nice, relaxed and calm atmosphere and it doesn't have the feeling of being very commercial like some of the other big parks. All in all, it's a great little park, with some great attractions.
Located near the banks of Lake Erie and only a very short drive from Eire, Waldameer is also very easy to find and get to.
