One of the more unique Intamin Accelerators in the world. Following a launch track prep, the train is warned of impending launch through a recording - "Now get ready - Here we go". Storm Runner then launches riders at 75 mph right into a 150ft. Tophat element. Unlike conventional Tophats, however, Storm Runner's Tophat ends with a straight dive (as opposed to a twisting dive). The coaster then performs an immelman inversion, before heading into it's oddest element - the world's only Flying Snake Dive. The Flying Snake Dive begins with a full barrel roll, after which the train performs a 2/3 barrel roll before pulling into a twisting dive towards the ground. The ride ends with two highly banked turns built into a hill. It is one of two Accelerators with a complete double station (the other being Six Flags Great Adventure's Kingda Ka).
