As daunting as the Big One, the coaster at Flamingo Park is situated similarly to it's slightly larger brethren at Blackpool. On the edge of the park, the lift hill towers up over the sea view, giving wonderful views of the pebbles and rotting fish, before it is engulfed from your site by the comically enlarged apple the coaster takes its name from.
From out of the apple you emerge, to be faced with laterals on the trick-track, before taking a sweeping turn into the main drop. Back into the engorged malus domestica for a final turnaround into the brake run. You will now (undoubtedly) be taken around for another whirlwind ride on the Big Apple. Riding a Caterpillar has never been so much fun!

It's an apple, only it's huge. One might say, a Big Apple!
Up the lift hill of the Big Apple.
The ride is disappointingly not associated with New York.
Unfortunately, the Big Apple was closed off on the sortie to get this photo, and surrounded by a six foot high fence. Still, like the minimal, blurred images of the Loch Ness monster, this is undisputable proof of the rides existence.
