The pirate ship in question here is a Zamperla model 88b. It's a short base version of the ride with a 47 degree curvature and 's' gauge tyre drive.

While I can understand Gavin's preference to the more popular long base 'f' gauge ship in prevalence across Asia, we'll never agree on which gives the best swing. In fact, we almost came to blows over the issue when we last met.
