The park started to gain it's own brand identity. All the signs and logos were bespoke and unique to the park and a more family vibe started to settle in. The Bullet and Magnum Force were removed and new attractions with lower height limits - but still able to thrill older thrill seekers - took their place. Velocity was the first booster bike ride in the UK. In 2009, the world's steepest drop coaster was added to the park, Mumbo Jumbo. A massive wet area was built in 2008, perfect for families on hot days.

With it's different areas and plenty to do, Flamingoland has remained a traditional British family-owned park with a pleasant atmosphere. In fact, in order to keep this review balanced, the food is probably the only let down. There are a few restaurants but these can seem a bit pricey and hit-or-miss. But hey, it's a theme park, what do you expect?

Flamingoland has got it all - coasters, plenty of family and thrilling rides, a farm, a zoo, musical shows and even a pub! Not bad for a family owned park in North Yorkshire! Go there now!
