Jubilee Odyssey is the largest Vekoma SLC in existence. The ride possesses an excellent first drop, but some may find it's layout is uninspired, short, and extremely rough. It's one of those "marmite coasters", you either love it or hate it.

 

 

Jubilee Odyssey was plagued with problems in its opening seasons, mainly constant rollbacks. As a solution to this problem wind shields were added at various points on the track and, eventually, the horseshoe turn was lowered.

 

During the 2006 season, the trains were returned to Vekoma for work to help with the roughness/stalling issues. The results still appear to be varied, but the trains seem less likely to stall, and roughness levels have been lowered. Fantasy Island's new owners have promised that Jubilee Odyssey will be open on a much more regular basis in the future.

Despite claims to the contrary, Infusion at Blackpool has not taken Jubilee Odyssey's crown, and it is still the worlds largest Vekome SLC.
