Maelstrom is an Intamin Gyro-swing that seats 32 riders and swings up to 22.5m.  The highest swings are between 95° and 120°, so the airtime at the top is great and the forces at the bottom are intense.  That’s not all though, the circular gondola also rotates at 5rpm, so Maelstrom is sure to pack a punch.

Surrounded by the wreckage of a storm, Maelstrom gives a great ride with a good cycle length and a fantastic sense of speed.  It also looks amazing as it swoops up and down and even over the pathways and queue.  Definitely not one to miss!
