Opened in 2008 as part of the new area of the park, Thomasland, the Troublesome Trucks ride is a Roller Coaster for young thrill seekers.

It's not the most intense coaster out there, essentially a lift hill followed by a helix, however it is superbly themed.  It fits in exceptionally well with the rest of Thomasland.  As can be seen in pictures, the trains are very well themed and the surrounding area really is something straight out of the story books.

Considering that Drayton Manor could easily have just installed another Big Apple, or Super Dragon Clone the ride is superb for a kiddie coaster.  Fast, smooth and fun and it shows that with some thought and care that great kiddie coasters can be made.  It makes you think, more parks should invest in great coasters for children like this!
