The ride experience is very quick but great fun. Some say it passes by in a blur, others say that it's just too short, either way it's incredible fun!

"To give the impression of a race day, upbeat music is played through the queue-line, where you can get good views of the entire ride. Also, the highest part of the track is green so it blends in with the surrounding trees!" - so said CoasterForce in 2005. During the 2010 retheme, Rita has been given a dark and creepy feel, and the music and announcements attached have been "made to fit".

Rita fits much better with its dirty new paint job, but it still sticks out like a sore thumb in terms of fitting in to the area. The words "You must escape!" are issued over the tannoy just before you are launched, but what you're escaping from is never really explained.

Still, it doesn't detract from the ride itself. Fast, furious and a bucket load of thrill.
