Canada's biggest and fastest coaster is Behemoth, a giant Mega Coaster from B&M. This 230ft. monster is B&M's second tallest coaster, just behind Silver Star. With lots of airtime hills and plenty of strong airtime on each, it's sure to please. The ride is more then just airtime, however and also has a hammerhead turn, a downward helix, and an upward turn mixed into the layout. The trains are different then the standard B&M 4 across, with the 2 outside seats in each car placed slightly back in order to give a more open view. All in all, the ride is certainly the best in the park!

2008 Review by Brian Andrelczyk (CedarPoint6) A very impressive ride. First, the trains are slightly odd, but do actually work. Unlike Deja's, which are made of awful and sad faces, these can be loaded straight through on each row. They're narrower then the traditional 4 across, although the train is hugely long. While they won't let you pick your seat (even front), I got lucky to get front and back. Front is by far better. There is ejector (yes, ejector-- not strong floater) through the first 4 hills to the midcourse. The MCBR grabs harder then I'd like, which loses a bit on the 2nd half, but the area still has some nice forces and the ending hills still have strong airtime. The back airtime is strong floater transitioning into light ejector with the same slowing after the MCBR. A fun ride overall, and I'd probably rank it above Goliath @ SFOG at the moment. It's smooth, fast, and tall and really makes a great park icon. It's a beautiful looking ride especially from the entrance area. The tight apexes of the hills are quite nice looking. Top 10 ride for me, still working out where. . |
