Backlot Stunt Coaster began life as Italian Job, a Premier built family coaster. After the Paramount name left the park, the Italian Job name left too.
With lots of airtime hills and plenty of strong airtime on each, it's sure to please. The ride is more then just airtime, however and also has a hammerhead turn, a downward helix, and an upward turn mixed into the layout.
Operating since the park's opening, Dragon Fire is a classic 4 inversion Arrow. There are back to back loops and corkscrews in the short out and back layout.
The perhaps oddly named Flight Deck is a Vekoma SLC. Unfortunately, this ride fits the bill for the usual SLC stereotypes, being rather rough. However, it's still a fun ride with a lot of track shoved into a little space.
Fly is a Mack 'large park' wild mouse. Including plenty of the classic hairpin turns, this ride also features a great 50ft. first drop. The top section is relatively unbraked and makes for great laterals by the end of the section.
Operating since the park's opening, Mighty Canadian Minebuster is an L-shapes out and back wooden coaster. It has recieved some unfortunate modifications over the years ruining some of the airtime, but the ride is still enjoyable.
Scooby's Gasping Ghoster Coaster is a favorite among kids. Sharing the same layout as others from the former Paramount Parks (like Kings Island, Kings Dominion, and Carowinds), the ride is a short figure 8.
Silver Streak is one of the major rides in the huge kids section at Canada's Wonderland. This was Vekoma's first of the kiddie inverted coasters and still runs relatively smoothly compared to similar rides at the other former Paramount parks.
SkyRider is a stand up coaster from the Japanese manufacturer, TOGO. TOGOs in this hemisphere don't always have the best reputation, but this ride isn't as bad as some may think (especially when compared to Kings Dominions!). The ride includes features that many stand ups don't feature, including some airtime and a piece of trick track.
Time Warp is a stock Zamperla flying coaster. The ride is very different from other coasters, starting with a unique spiral lift and into a series of tight turns and spiral inversions.
In the center of the park is this wonderful Arrow suspended coaster fom the early 90s. Set over a lake and an open field, the coaster looks looks great.
Wild Beast is another coaster from the park's opening year. The ride is a simple double out and back with some good airtime and nice corners (and a layout very similar to Grizzly at Kings Dominion).
