Perilous Plunge was the first Intamin River Plunge ride, and is one of only two in the world (the other is Hydro at Oakwood in Wales, UK). The concept is fairly simple - think vertical drop water flume. The drop isn't quite vertical, but it is close enough to bridge the gap between vertical drop coasters and flume rides.

I like the ride, the drop is exciting, but that is it. It takes forever between unloading and departure in the station due to the annoying restraints used. A good ride if you want to get really wet and the line is short.

I think they always run one boat. And it was just the usual water ride to me.

When you come to knotts the first ride you should go on to wake you up is the Perilous Plunge because the water is cold and YOU WILL GET SOAKED-

A good ride howver is well to short.Oh yea one other thing, after riding this you will be very very wet!!!
