After an extensive viral campaign (using the Ride Institute of Technology as a fake scientific group), Hershey Park have today revealed the details of their new 2012 coaster project.
The coaster is to be an Intamin Megacoaster called Skyrush. The ride is 200 feet high and will reach speeds of up to 75mph. It will feature 4 across seating, with the outer seats floorless - a first for this kind of ride. With an 85 degree first drop and five airtime hills, it's going to be a hell of thrill. All of the details can be found following the links below.
This has been a great piece of publicity by Hershey Park, and the new coaster will be an excellent addition to their already excellent selection of coasters.
