
The popular soft toy franchise, Hello Kitty, is set to make it's first theme park appearence outside of Japan.
The $250m (£153m/€174m) project will open in Anji, east China in 2014. Construction of the the park will begin in the latter half of this year.
The ride line up has not yet been revealed but judging by the the two current Hello Kitty theme parks in Japan, the rides will be family friendly and could feature a Zamperla powered coaster.
The 150 acre amusement park will feature a hotel and is another cherry on top this 37 year old franchise cake.
