Skyride to Operate During Peak Days Only at Alton Towers
In a move that is likely to cause much controversy, TowersTimes have today announced that from tomorrow, Alton Towers’ popular transportation system, Skyride, shall remain open only on ‘Peak’ days during the 2012 season. Lightwater Valley Sell Swinging Ship
Originally introduced for the 1990 season, Lightwater Valley’s original Swinging Ship, The Wave, has now been sold. After over a year and a half on the market, the ride, which was located in a rather secluded area of the park, is set to be removed from the Valley following acquisition by a currently unknown purchaser.
