I think I overrated this a bit much, i might rerate it an 8 or 9. It's a good ride, But i think it's overhyped. It's
great fun but repetitive and the airtime isn't as good as everyone says.

As with Apocolypse, I was expecting something bigger. Still a very good ride, but nothing mind-blowing.

It's awesome, it has airtime a lot of it, it had quite a long cycle and was good overall, however i still think Rush is
better but this is a good contender.

This is the best flat ride I've ever been on, it has a superb forceful feeling and the air-time is fantastic! Easily the
best flat in the park, beats Apocalypse in my opinion.

Its like an afterburner, but sitting on the outside instead of the inside, and way more intense! I loved this!

Maealstrom was the first 'big' flat i went on, i enjoyed it and its worth a go or 2 in a day. One amazing ride, good
airtime, buts its too short, 2 swings at full height then it stops :(

A great ride, themeing is good, and not to long queue, i have never had to queue longer than 20 minutes. Better than
vortex as you are more exposed. Packs a punch and is the BEST flat ride in the UK. 9/10

When I went I had to queue up for 2 hours, just for a 2 minute ride! The queue for shockwave was shorter! While a good
ride, this isn't worth more than a twenty minute queue.

While not a fan of Flats in general. Maelstrom is insanely fun. DO RIDE THIS if you can, seeing all the people below and
seeing the sky and trees, along with the strong forces enhance the ride greatly.

What a punch this baby packs! But it's a punch you will actually want again, and again, and again, and again, and
again... and again... you get the idea.

Vortex is so much better than this
Knucklecoaster

Yeah this is better than Vortex, you go significantly higher on this, and you can't c the other people on ride cause ur
facing outwards, which leaves you feelin more exposed. Also longer ride time, maybe not any more forceful than Vortex
though.

Okay, to conclude the 'Better or Worse than Vortex' debate, let me tell you, that although Maelstrom is a natural
terroriser, nothing comes more original than Vortex. Okay then it's better than Vortex, however i will still never
forget it...
