Well, Ocean Beach in Rhyl may be a future Asda, but the old place just wont die quietly!
Some of the rides - including the Nessie and Pepsi Loop - have arrived a few miles up the road at Ffrith Beach!
Ffrith beach was a popular amusement park from the 1930's, peaking during the 60's and 70's, slowly declining during the 80's. It was finally closed down and replaced with a poorly planned gardens and retail park. Which failed and fell into rapid decline.
Last year some amusements were allowed to return to site, and this year, they appear to have permission to expand.
We can wish them all the best, but you really do have to wonder what is going on down the coaster there - swapping amusements for retail and back again!
