At the beginning of this year, a local planning council OKed the projected construction of a 100 ft. tall Gerstlauer Eurofighter featuring four inversions and a 97 degree drop to be built in the Canada Creek area at Thorpe Park.

The original intended layout for the Eurofighter was proposed last November, which looked like:

Thorpe Park has since then revised the layout.
Though they removed an Immelmann inversion, a mid course brake run was also removed, all being replaced by an airtime hill.

Though there are those who are saddened by the loss of the inversion, on the bright side with a MCBR gone there will be no slowing during the ride, rather riders will float right along over the airtime hill.
This is not the first time Thorpe has changed the blue prints for a ride, as Stealth was originally intended to have a layout similar to Xcelerator, but changed last minute to the Kingda Ka style design.
Construction for the new Eurofighter coaster is planned to begin shortly.
