Norton Auctioneers, the company overseeing the auction for the remaining property of Geauga Lake, recently released a brochure containing all items intended to be sold off.
Though it was unclear if Big Dipper was intended to be auctioned off, Cedar Fair certainly have decided, advertising it as a "1926 National Amusement Land Mark Coaster" in the auction brochure.
All of the remaining roller coasters and rides are also intended to be sold off.
Some may remember that Cedar Fair originally hired Martin & Vleminckx Rides to sell off all of the wooden roller coasters at Geauga Lake.
Considering none of the coasters were sold, Cedar Fair is now reselling them in the auction.
One interesting note though is the absence of the Beaver Land Mine Ride from the auction.
Though it was never announced if this Zierer kiddie coaster would be relocated to another park, it is not on the list for auctioning. Maybe Cedar Fair might reuse this kiddie coaster at another park after all.
Geuaga Lake's Carousel and Ferris Wheel are also not planning to be auctioned off, but definitely relocated to other parks in the coming year.
